Join Phoenix Children’s Cleft & Craniofacial Center as an Orthodontic Assistant and work with a highly specialized pediatric patient population alongside experienced orthodontists in a multidisciplinary clinic. The position is located at 124 W Thomas Rd Suite 320, Phoenix, AZ 85013.
This hands-on role provides chairside orthodontic care, assists with specialized procedures and dental lab work, and supports children with cleft lip, palate, and other craniofacial conditions.
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-4:30 PM | St. Joseph’s Campus
Qualifications:
DANB-certified Orthodontic Assistant Orthodontic chairside experience, 4 years Strong patient care and teamwork skills

This position works under the direction of a licensed health care professional and performs various clinical and administrative tasks for the assigned area. Under the direction of the Orthodontist, the Orthodontic Assistant provides chair side assistance to the Orthodontist and perform various orthodontic procedures such as wire changes, placing separators and bands, reties and c-chains; taking alginate impressions; and exposing and developing oral x-rays. The Orthodontic Assistant demonstrates proficiency with sterilizing instruments and maintaining appropriate infection control.
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent. (Required)
Experience
Minimum of four years orthodontic assistant experience. (Required)
Certifications
Arizona Radiology Proficiency Certificate from Arizona State Board of Dental Examiners (DANB). (Required)
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association. (Preferred)
