Join our team as a School-Based Dental Hygienist responsible for providing dental hygiene services primarily at our School-Based Health Clinic, with one day a week at our Main Dental Clinic. As a vital member of our dental team, you will work closely with students, parents, and staff to promote good oral health practices and deliver preventive dental care. In the School-Based Health Clinic, you will conduct oral health assessments, cleanings, and fluoride treatments for students, emphasizing the importance of proper dental care. At our Main Dental Clinic, you will assist in more in-depth dental procedures and patient education. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Dental Hygienist who is passionate about working with children and adolescents. De Baca Family Practice Clinic, is the provider of healthcare in De Baca County, Fort Sumner, NM. The clinic provides access to primary medical, dental, mental health/substance abuse services and ancillary care including lab and x-ray to citizens in our area. The Clinic also has a School Based Health Clinic on the campus of Fort Sumner Schools, and Mobile Unit providing services to outlying schools. In addition to the primary care services, the clinic partners with the Village of Fort Sumner to provide 24/7 emergency medical and/or transport services for patients. All Clinic sites are accredited through the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care and are recognized as patient centered and medical homes.

Fort Sumner also is home to the Bosque Redondo Memorial that pays tribute to the Navajo and Mescalero Long Walk to the Bosque Redondo in 1863.
