The Attending Dentist accepts the responsibility as an educator to create a learning environment and facilitate the development of dental residents. The Attending Dentist will provide learning activities that will encourage intellectual inquiry, critical analysis, and self-directed and independent learning, implementation of an ongoing comprehensive evaluation program to assess resident learning and teaching effectiveness to ensure a quality program. Responsibilities of an attending dentist include but are not limited to supervising dental residents, reviewing treatment plans, managing treatment plans and care with the residents and hygienists, completing resident evaluations, providing education, etc.  Attendings should be comfortable in all fields of dental i
