Dental Hygienist
The Dental Hygienist provides direct patient care under the general supervision of the dentist and performs other clinical and clerical functions independently of direct supervision. The dental hygienist informs the supervisor of problems or unusual situations with recommendations for appropriate action. The dental hygienists work is reviewed on an overall basis by the supervisor for conformity to Dental Service policy and requirements. Basic Requirements: United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.
