This position is located in the Dental Service at the VA Phoenix Healthcare System in Phoenix, Arizona. The Dental Laboratory Technician communicates and collaborates with the dentist to plan, design and fabricate dental prostheses for individual patients. IN ORDER TO QUALIFY FOR THIS POSITION AT THE GS-8 LEVEL YOU MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING: ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY: In accordance with 38 U.S.C. 7402(d), No person shall serve in direct patient care positions unless they are proficient in basic written and spoken English.
